Meet Our Teacher
Corrie Slay
Corrie’s experience includes eight years of Lead Teaching experience using curricula such as Everyday Math, Mind Up and Responsive Classroom, all key programs at Friends School. She has created thematic, interdisciplinary units and mentored colleagues in curriculum mapping. Corrie’s recent professional development includes Teachers College Reading and Writing Project (TCRWP) at Columbia University and Identity Development with Rosetta Lee. Corrie has an MA in Teaching from USC and a BS in Agricultural Engineering from Virginia Tech.
